Pickleball has become the fastest growing racquet sport in the country, and many parks and clubs now share tennis courts with painted pickleball lines or have converted courts outright. Dedicated pickleball facilities, indoor and outdoor, rent courts by the hour and run open play sessions where players rotate in. Padel, played on an enclosed court with glass walls, is arriving in the Sun Belt and big cities; platform tennis (paddle) is a winter game on heated, elevated courts in the Northeast and Midwest; racquetball and squash live inside athletic clubs and YMCAs; badminton and table tennis have their own clubs in most metro areas. Equipment is cheap to rent or borrow for a first session at nearly all of them.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The team and coaches that run this place are great! You always get a warm smile at the door which is so heartwarming. Price is fair and the most competitive pricing in Brooklyn if you ask me. I’m a lifetime member and I come here more often because it passes the vibe check. Bryan, Alice, Rob, Terrance and all the coaches take the time to listen to what the players want. We have ran Queer Pickleball here for very competitive pricing.

Friendly players and staff. Did a 24hr tournament here a few months ago and visited a bunch of times since. I’d recommend for anyone in the area or anyone who wants chill vibes and good pickleball!

I’ve been to redhook several times for open play sessions, dupr gated ones and the non dupr gated ones and overall I’ve had positive experiences here. There are pros and cons as will every facility. Cons: The courts have a lot of dead spots and certain spots sounds like it’s bouncing on ply wood and the lights can be blinding if you are standing on the side closer to the gate but the games are good (level 4+ dupr gated) and the workers are nice and bathrooms are clean. They hosted pickleball for Parkinson’s friendly tourney recently for a good cause and I love how so many people showed up to support the cause. Courts can’t compare to lifetime but they have amazing monthly membership rates that allow for almost all day open play. So if you are looking for a no frills pickleball facility that’s got easy parking with decent games I’d recommend checking it out.

Great community of players here. Very down to earth and friendly management. Alot of familiar regulars around the city. Hope to see it grow. Courts are arranged well, open and spacious. Format is very straightforward with almost strictly open play. Memberships are the best value in the city hands down, with its β€œunlimited” open play. If you play at least 2 times a week it pays for itself. Worth checking out.

This is the first time that I have played pickleball there. The courts are very nice and great atmosphere and environment, but the price is a little bit high. And it'll be great if they're available parking. But overall, I enjoyed and do recommend this place.
